Nestiex exists to give homeowners and contractors accurate, easy-to-use gravel estimates. These standards describe how we create and maintain our tools and content.

Accuracy first

Every calculator is built on published, industry-standard formulas and typical material densities, documented on our Methodology page. We test each tool against worked examples before publishing and label estimates clearly as estimates.

How our content is created

Guides and FAQs are written to answer real questions people ask when buying gravel. We favour plain language, worked examples and practical depth recommendations over filler. Where a figure can vary (density, price, coverage), we give a realistic range rather than a single false precision.

Review and updates

Content is reviewed for accuracy before publication and re-checked periodically. Each tool and key page shows a “last reviewed” date. When formulas, defaults or best practices change, we update the affected pages and note it.

Independence

Our calculators are free to use. We may display advertising to support the site, but ads never influence the formulas, results or recommendations we publish.

Corrections

We correct errors quickly. If you spot a mistake in a calculation, formula or guide, please email hello@nestiex.com with the page and the issue, and we will investigate and fix it.
