Nestiex is built and maintained by a small team that combines hands-on estimating experience with a focus on clear, accurate tools. Together we handle the calculators, the formulas behind them, and the guides that explain how to use them.

What the team does

• Tool development, building and testing each calculator against worked examples so the maths is right.
• Estimating & methodology, choosing the densities, depths and coverage figures that reflect real-world gravel projects.
• Editorial, writing and reviewing guides and FAQs for accuracy and plain language.

Our approach

We publish planning estimates based on standard formulas and typical material densities (see our Methodology), and we hold our work to the commitments on our Editorial Standards page. We're careful to present ranges where real values vary, and to remind readers to confirm final quantities with their supplier.
